- Bridesmaids (7 out of 10): Funny enough, though it certainly doesn’t have the universal appeal that many led on. This is definitely a comedy intended for women, and most interactions between the two main characters serve as a strong reminder. You could do A LOT worse for a date-night movie, but don’t get tricked into thinking that’s not what it is.
- Cedar Rapids (6.5 out of 10): Pretty much exactly what you’d expect out of it. Has it’s moments, entertaining throughout but nothing remarkably
- Wilco – The Whole Love (9 out of 10): Album of the year by a wide margin (which serves as both a compliment to the album, but also a reminder that it hasn’t been a terrific year musically). If you haven’t listened to them before, this is the Wilco album you should try. It’s not their best -Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is – but it’s got a great blend of universal appeal tied in with the typical Wilco-type musical experimentation. If you are a Wilco fan, I’m sure I don’t have to convince you of much, but I will say that this is easily my favorite record of there’s in quite some time. Favorite track: It Dawned on Me
